Navedo began her professional acting career as a daytime actress in soap operas. Navedo was in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. She joined Guiding Light, a CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996, she made her debut in the film world with a brief performance for the film Girl 6. She then made appearances on New York Undercover episodes and The District. In 2001, Navedo was a co-star in the action-comedy double take film Double Take and the following year, in the drama film Washington Heights. From 2001 to 2004, Navedo was a frequent character in the NBC crime show Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. Then, he was a part of Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages along with Blue Bloods. Navedo played in numerous other films, such as El Cantante or Remember Me.
